Dan here to answer a few questions about the Enchanted Fairies 2013 Calendar, how it works, and all that good stuff.

What is this all about?

With your $25 donation to Frisco Family Services you will receive one FREE photo session and FREE limited edition 8 x 10 enchanted portrait from Enchanted Fairies Studio. 100% of the proceeds benefit Frisco Family Services.

Frisco Family Services is a non-profit organization whose mission is to prevent hunger, prevent homelessness, and promote self-sufficiency in the community. Every year I select a charity to work with whose values align with my own and hold a charity calendar event in their benefit. This year, I’m extremely excited to be working with FFS.

How does it work?

The Enchanted Fairies Calendar is broken down into 3 phases. Photo Sessions, Online Voting, and Calendar Sales. The amount we raise from all 3 phases will be donated to Frisco Family Services.

Photo sessions will take place at 9061 Dogwood St. Frisco, TX 75034 which is next to Frisco Resale. You can click the address for directions. Sessions will wrap up on June 30th, 2012.

On July 1st, contestants will be entered in our on-line voting contest. In this phase, you can recruit family & friends to vote for your Child! $1 per vote with a $5 minimum and you can vote as many times as you want. Online voting will end on July 31st, 2012.

Winners will be announced August 15th, 2012 and the 13 children with the most votes will be featured in our 2nd Annual Charity Calendar. The grand prize winner will receive a $3,000 prize package.

Can I photograph more than one child?

Absolutely! Many of our sessions involve entire families and kids. Brothers and sisters are more than welcome to take photos together. A $25 donation applies for each child. Ultimately, the image entered into the online voting phase must be an individual image of your child.

What are the age requirements for a session?

Your child must be between the ages of 1-14 to participate. Our calendar last year featured children of all ages. The girls will be transformed into enchanted fairies, boys into mystical elves, and then transported into a magical forest right before your eyes.

How long does a photo session take?

You should plan for a session to take about 30 minutes per child. After your session is completed, please allow for an additional 30 minutes so that you can view your images and select your FREE Limited Edition 8 x 10 enchanted portrait.

What do I have to bring?

We provide all the dresses, wings, accessories, and props for your fairytale session. If you would like to have your child’s hair done, we ask that you do so before the session. For girls, make sure they have a pair of shorts to wear under the dress.

What’s the cancelation notice?

The session fee is due at the time you schedule your portrait session. Your appointment cannot be reserved until the session fee is paid. Due to our limited schedule session fees are non refundable but may be applied towards a rescheduled session with a 48-hour cancellation notice.
