A few months ago, my wife and I shared the story of when our daughter was born, her being admitted to the NICU, and what are our experience in the hospital was like. Above is a photo of Mom with Alaska and her first smile just hours after she was born. That post can be found here. Since then, we’ve received so many different messages, comments, and emails from other parents sharing their stories and experiences. Here are just a few we will never forget…
Thank you all so much for sharing as we know if can be difficult to speak about and relive these memories. We’ve been so overwhelmed with your stories and are deeply inspired to do more.
While it’s not much, it’s hopefully the start to something bigger. For one day, late this August, we will be shutting the doors of our studio off to the public so that we can dedicate one entire day to children who are special needs or terminally ill. We will be giving several families an entire magical session and experience at our studio at no cost.
Families who are chosen for the event will be notified via email in early August and will have these magical sessions towards the end of the month.
